Rule no 1 prepare to cut lost to keep ur capital.

Example buying this thing at rm 1 expect profit rm 1.50
But also must set if is drop below rm 0.90 must to keep the capital.

i was a trader back in 1995 for about a year.
my fav counters were usd/pound n usd/yen.
in forex one must be able to think and act fast.
must set set a target where to buy n where to sell.
read more current issue and latest news.
active trading only begins after midnite where US market comes in.
day time pretty bored cos only BOJ is the only active counter.
take advantage of the current weak greenback.
if you got heart attack but still wants to trade then i wud suggest swiss franc n deutch marks counters.
much slower movement counter somemore got overnight interest if trading in swiss franc.

I think if we want to go into FX , one should be having his/her goals set. How much profit per day/week/month. Eg. USD 100/day then start trading with this goal in mind. Set the time for each day, eg. 2 hrs/day ( 9-111am). Once you gain or lose call off for the day.

Person who succeed in FX are those who do not feel greedy, calm, except losses, well discipline and high risk management. If you have heart problem or high diabetic, don't play play :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:

that is my 1st time of bought comp share, end up losing s$4k for nothing.
i juz dunno what's the story abt as my comp during that moment was booming up.
at the end of 2001, the comp shown a sharp declined.

Just becarefull and dont over confidence as people below have more patient, money resources connection then us but endup like that.

Case 1

(CNN) -- German billionaire Adolf Merckle, one of the richest men in the world, committed suicide Monday after his business empire got into trouble in the wake of the international financial crisis, Merckle's family said Tuesday in a statement.

Merckle, 74, was hit by a train in the southwestern town of Ulm, police said.

His family said the economic crisis had "broken" Merckle.

He was number 94 on the Forbes list of the world's richest people. He had fallen from number 44 on the Forbes 2007 rich list as his fortune declined from $12.8 billion to $9.2 billion in 2008.

Merckle's business empire included interests as diverse as cement-maker HeidelbergCement and generic drug-maker Ratiopharm. But he lost hundreds of millions of dollars, including company capital, betting against Volkswagen stock last year.

The state government of Baden-Wuerttemberg rejected his petition for financial assistance, and he entered bailout talks with several German banks.

Financial Casualty: Why Adolf Merckle Killed Himself
"The financial troubles of his companies, induced by the international financial crisis and the uncertainty and powerlessness to act independently which the financial problems brought about, broke the passionate family business man, and he took his own life," his family wrote in the news release.

An employee of Germany's railroad company found the body on the tracks at about 7 p.m. Monday and notified authorities. Merckle's family had already reported him missing earlier in the day after he walked out of the house and did not return. Authorities are currently conducting DNA tests to confirm his identity.

Case 2

Irish property tycoon commits suicideIan King, Deputy Business Editor
Irish police believe a well-known Dublin businessman, with extensive property interests in Britain, has killed himself.

The body of property tycoon Patrick Rocca was found at his home at Porterstown, Castleknock, in west Dublin, yesterday morning.

He was found with a single gunshot wound to the head and a firearm nearby has been taken away by forensic investigators, but Gardai have said they are satisfied nobody else was involved.

Mr Rocca, 41, had a fortune which was put at €500million (£462.9m) in 2007 and he is thought to have completed 20 property deals in the UK during the last few years, worth about €300million in total, including €100 million for a distribution centre for retailer Argos in Bedford.

Other UK property assets owned by his company, Accorp Properties, include Lloyds Chambers on Portsoken Street in the City, Quadrant House in Sutton, Surrey; Norwich Union House in Sheffield, and Crystal Court near London’s City Airport.

He kick-started his UK property portfolio in 2005 with the €17million acquisition of two office blocks near Gatwick Airport.

Father-of-three Mr Rocca and his wife, Annette, were well-known on the Dublin social circuit and big donors to charities. His sister Michelle, a former Miss Ireland, is partner of acclaimed singing legend Van Morrison.

Mr Rocca’s business career began in 1983 when he joined the family business, Rocca Tiles, which had been set up by his father in Dublin in 1976.

He and his father, also called Patrick, expanded the business rapidly during the 1990s and Mr Rocca took full managerial control when his father retired in 1995. The company was sold in 2000 but the family retained a 20 per cent interest — only to see a receiver appointed to the business and its sister company, Tilebusters, in 2002.

There is speculation in Irish business and media circles today that Mr Rocca, who holidayed in Marbella and who bought a Sikorsky helicopter in November before upgrading to a Jet Ranger, may have lost a substantial sum in Anglo-Irish Bank — which was nationalised by the Irish Government late last week.

A number of well-known business personalities have recently taken their own lives. German billionaire Adolf Merckle killed himself two weeks ago, after losing a fortune by wrongly short-selling shares of Volkswagen, while French investment manager Rene-Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet, killed himself before Christmas after putting £1billion into fraudster Bernard Madoff’s scheme.
