not to say big & proud abt wafer fab industry. in m'sia alone, there are few semicon factory producing 8" and 12" wf in kulim hi-tech, penang, central & s'wak. this is a very hi-end component that mounted on to our handphones, pda, laptop, mobile acc, isdn, etc.etc......... u can't imagine......... my comp has invested total of more than usd800 billions for eqpt & mfg plant since 1994 till today.... http://enterpriseportal/ |

1 good business maybe in Klang valley is that IF,,u r familiar with certain gov't departs,,like JPJ,immigration,Customs...u can b part-time or full time runner.. i deal mostly with immigration dept so i got few runners in Klang Valley.. :thumbup |

I'm just an ordinary employee, at the same time having some fairly minority shares in several public listed companies. No lubang, but got some analysis knowledge to pick shares. not really.. now im working in a penang based MSC status company.. they wanna penetrate KL market.. so hired me.. im the only guy based in kl.. they have numerous projects with MDEC.. so been traveling there often lately. doing sales as well.. BEST THING ABOUT MY JOB, my boss told me, we want you to treat this as your own company, and we, as the investors. we entrust you with full power over the company, quotations and whatsoever. and they really deliver.. but i have some guidelines and some minimal operation cost tht i cannot quote below laa.. :wacko ANOTHER BEST THING.. I CAN WORK FROM HOME.. or anywhere with internet access!!! incl coffee bean, whole of 1-utama.. |

As I said, blue chip will only be cheap during recession time, now they are all costly. With the multi-billion projects in our southern and northern region, building materials like cement, steel, etc looks good for the new few years. |

Bascialy i still ike my work with PC Server Network and ETC. The problem is finding a company that can provide me chalengging work is so dificult. 1/ Company A 1 work 1 year and find better offer and leave. ( Company already closed now) 2/ Company B ! work 7 year and leave because no work to be carry out everyday go there AOCM and msn and ... 3/ Company C work 3 months and leave because the company technology to old using Pentium 1 and no budget to upgrade. 4/ Compay D currently working, first 1 years learn all enviroment. Asking for more work and responsible from Local Manager - Say Wait Asking for samething from HQ in Taiwan - Say Wait Lastly talk to Taiwan Local Manager - He say just work as normal 9 - 6 dont bother other things. So again now i m in the junction again like 2 years ago when i start this topic. Apply 35 job, Attend 5 interview and mostly all says you r not specialized or we can't give you that salary. Curently got and offer will attend 2nd interview salary might be sae as current company. Small company less staff more specialize work. Also think about doing some business probablt food business. |

You should'nt be boring, think positive and always find new methods in achieving ur goals. " GOAL REMAIN, METHOD CHANGE". If you really thinking doing ur own business, start when you are still working to have minimum risk. When ur business have stable then you quit. Take me as an example, always delay in venturing into business due to comfort zone. Now really got to be prudent to survive but nothing is late. The best business I feel is in agriculture but also in selling any products which is daily activities as some agriculture don't need to be everyday. Try to learn FX trading as this is also a good income source but be prepared with RISK management. |

My experience: Dec 2000 - May 2007 - Working with several IT company. June 2007 (Since this topic Start) - July 2008 - Full time Unit Trust Consultant (sometimes can earn double than salary that I got before and sometimes just earn half than what that I earn before) July 2008 - now - Already join 2 IT company within less than 1 year + Doing part time Unit Trust Consultant. For next coming 5 years, I don't have any self confident to start my own business again. After my experience working as a full time unit trust consultant, I'm not good enough to work on my own. But within 1 yr working with my own, it was a very good experience and a very good challenge for me. I managed to become Agency Supervisor within 5 months. My Upline earned RM20K a month (Just overriding) and yearly bonus (>RM100K). You'll feel that you don't want to work with other people anymore. You'll enjoy your great time meeting people, enjoy your money with your own sweat, work with your own schedule, etc. But due to market crash last year, I lost a lot of my potential customer, lost my good relationship with them and lost a lot of my income. That's why I'm back into IT job now. But this time, better pay and some extra income from my Unit Trust Submission every month. Servicing my old clients as it's my responsible to take care of their account. For time being this is my comfort zone. |
