Anybody heard about the Country Heights Grower Scheme? Guaranteed 8% return for 1st 3 years, thereafter get the harvest return every year.

The land is at Gua Musang, each investment plot is 0.25 acre @ RM5.5k resellable to other investors.

I came across was in oil palm investment in plot... very similar I think the offer is over now... but I'm not interested... many months ago...

Like Ongkh and Clement i feel the same is a bit risky to do liquidity invetment then long term investment. FD will be a best choise at this moment with some property investment fund will be good enough and looking at local fund movement,
Public bank had come with new fund call Far East Property Fund. I think this had shows that Public Bank had take precaution to diverst their investment to property at far east as us property is going down and malaysia property show not much of improvement and over supply.

bro's Far East fund is a good investment. but the existing Far East Fund (from maybank & SBB and Public bank) since last 2 year
is going up till above 20% but now suddenly slow start last year dec price going down. thatway public bank looking for Far East Property fund. so invest lah ape lagi. it good ma.

Far East country dont worry lah. ok punyeee.

in this case, where to put yr $$$$ in order to earn higher return beside fd ??

ofcourse lah bro's u must indentified howlong period? howmuch?
for those 30 han until 40 han punye umur, time to save & invest ma.
i told earlier, we must diversified.
for those yg suke main share -high risk high return lorrr.
for those yg conservertive, mmmm letak fixed deposit jer lerr.
for those yg moderate mmmmm age 30years ( equity 70% fixed income 30%)
age 35years (equity 65% fixed income 35%)
age 40years (equity 60% fixed incom 40%)
from your total investment.

I have heard some people do keep money in Indonesia (my friend's friends) due to its high interest rate. High risk high return .... maaaah :wacko

Another is maybe invest in islamic funds ...... they are more stable. An advice from a friend who works for public mutual ........ he's part of the investment team for islamic funds. The only thing is this is not a short term investment. I have some of my EPF in a few funds and my return is 20% after 3 years :D

You can do that in Maybank2u under the last menu option - EPF.

Dunno this can be automated or not.

Yes, property price goes along with economic condition.
MOST OF PEOPLE SAY :

1/ KEEP CASH IF YOU HAVE
2/ IF U HAVE FINANCIAL PROBLEM SOLD UR PROPERTY INVESTMENT (NOT THE HOUSE U STAY) CUT LOOSE NOW BEFORE MARKET GET WORSE.
3/ STOCK MARKET ALREADY AT 30 TO 40% DISCOUNT, POSIBLE IT WILL GIVE U ANOTHER 50% DISCOUNT OF THE CURRENT PRICE. (THOSE BLUE CHIPS WITH TRACK RECORDS.) WHEN THE FINANCIAL TSUINAMI HIT MALAYASIA.
